Muddler

A Muddler is a tool used to mash ingredients like fruit and herbs in the preparation of a cocktail. Resembling a pestle, the traditional construction uses wood but contemporary muddlers are also constructed of metal and plastic (but very uncool). Muddlers are often used to prepare cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Mojitos and Mint Juleps.
